What is this thing?

It's a site for people to post and comment on Infosec related news. Things you've seen are highlighted in purple. Stories you haven't seen are highlighted in Blue. Registration is easy and painless and if you have a slinkset account you're already registered!

How do I vote?

Voting is easy. If you find a link interesting simply use the up arrow to the left to vote it up. Voting means that you like something, not that you think it should go on the front page. Of course, if you don't like an article, don't vote for it. You can vote once per story.

When you submit a story, you automatically vote for it yourself.

What is Karma and what does it mean?

When you submit links and receive votes you acquire karma. The more karma you have, the more you have available to spend on voting and so on. The formula's a bit more complicated than that but submitting links and interacting are the best ways to gain karma.

Who's behind this site?
