Pick the most important people of this year with Patrol's Fix the Lists 2008.

We've started out with the 30 most obvious people who come to mind when we look back over the news, events, and triumphs of 2008. Of course there's many more who need to be on this list; that's where you come in. Here's how it works:

1. Add the people you think we've missed. We just got it started, so you have to finish. To add a name, click "submit," and include the person's name and a link to a photo in the "thumbnail" field. Your entry will show up within a few minutes.

2. Vote by clicking the up or down arrows to signal which direction it should be moving on the list (higher or lower). You only get one vote, but you can always change it (click the arrow again to clear it).

3. Yell at other voters via threaded comments on each album (click the “comment” link underneath the summary).

4. Crusade. Argue in the comments and get voters to change their minds! Send http://people.patrolmag.com to your friends to get your favorites more votes. Make war, not love.
